C.M.P.No.28137 of 2023 in Rev.A.S.R.131609 of 2023 in WA.153/ 2016 and C.M.P.No.28568 of 2023 in Rev.A.S.R.155106 of 2023 in W.A.154/2016 S.S.SUNDAR, J and P.VELMURUGAN, J (The Order of the Court was made by S.S.Sundar,J) These petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 2146 and 2145 days in filing the respective review applications.

2. Despite this Court finds that the reasons for condoning the delay are not adequate, and the delay has not been properly explained in the affidavits filed in support of the petitions, this Court was inclined to show indulgence by giving time to file better affidavits.

3. The matter appeared before us and we in fact wanted the respondents not to precipitate the matter, but requested the learned Additional Advocate General to file better affidavits of the petitioners. However, despite sufficient opportunity having been given to the petitioners to file better affidavits, no such affidavit is filed today.

4. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the contesting respondents urged that the delay is more and the purpose for delaying further is with an oblique motive.

5. Hence, even though the petitions to condone the delay are liable to be dismissed, taking an extreme and lenient view in the matter, because the petitioners are Government/Government Undertaking, these petitions are ordered and the delay in both the petitions is condoned. (S.S.S.R., J) (P.V.,J) 21.03.2024 cs Registry is directed to number the Review Applications, if they are otherwise in order and list them "for admission" on 22.03.2024 at 4.40 p.m.
