This petition has been filed seeking to amend the prayer sought in the above criminal original petition from cancellation of bail in Crl.O.P.No.29526 of 2008 by order dated 08.12.2008 granted by this Court to cancellation of bail granted in Crl.M.P. No. 6201 of 2008 by order dated 15.10.2008 passed by Judicial Magistrate No.1, Alandur with respect to the 1st accused/Selvam @ Selvakumar in Cr.No. 2/2008 registered for offences under Sections 120(B) IPC, 10, 13(1)(2) of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, Section 12(1)(d) of Passport Act, 1967. 2.

The petitioner had filed Crl.M.P. No. 9466 of 2021 seeking to cancel the bail granted to the 1st accused aforementioned. But, in the relief, they had sought to cancel the order dated 08.12.2008 passed in Crl.O.P. No. 29526 of 2008. nv the bail order dated 15.10.2008 granted by Judicial Magistrate No.1, Alandur in Crl.M.P. No. 6201 of 2008.

In view of this particular error, the petitioner has sought to modify the relief to cancellation of bail granted in Crl.M.P. No. 6201 of 2008 by order dated 15.10.2008 passed by Judicial Magistrate No.1, Alandur instead of cancellation of bail granted in Crl.O.P. No. 29526 of 2008 stated supra.

In view of this particular fact, the petition stands allowed. 5.

Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in accordance with the order dated 05.12.2023 passed in Crl.M.P. No. 19135 of 2023 with respect to the relief claimed.
