The petitioner herein was arrested on 20.05.2022 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 477A, 468, 409 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.289 of 2022 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2.The allegation against this petitioner is that while the petitioner was working as a Manager in the private Finance Gold Loan Company he created many forged accounts in the name of various persons and pleadged spurious gold and misappropriated a sum of Rs.23,86,101/-. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reported that during the audit of the company, it was clearly revealed that the petitioner misappropriated a sum of Rs.23,86,101/- and the same has also been confirmed in the investigation. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner misappropriated a huge amount and so far no amount is recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
