Order Heard Mr.K.A.Mariappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- For issuance of a mandamus directing 1st respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to restore the pipelines, which was damaged while forming a new metal road by the 3rd respondent to its original position at his own cost without causing any damages to the newly laid metal road in consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2024 within a time frame.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner seeking for the aforesaid relief, has made a representation dated 07.10.2024 to the respondents, however, as on the date, the same has not evoked any response, which necessitated the petitioner to approach this Court by way of present Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents fairly submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of within the time, that may be stipulated by this Court. 2/4
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for, in this Writ Petition, this Court is of the view that suffice it would be to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law in a time bound manner.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
