The petitioner/A2 in Crime No.56 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii) (B), 21(a) of the Nargotic Drugs and Phychotropic Substances Act, 1985(as amended) seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is stated that A1 had been arrested and he was found in possession of 1.100 kgs of Ganja and 3 grams of Methamepethamine.
3. It is the case of the prosecution that 1.100 kgs of ganja and 3 grams of Methamepethamine. The quantity are intermediate quantities. But A1 had been given confession statement that he had purchased the said contraband from this petitioner. Serious objection have been raised. The earlier application seeking anticipatory bail was dismissed. Further investigation will have to be done as from where this petitioner obtained the Ganja and more particularly Methamepethamine. 1/3
4. There is no change in circumstances from the previous stage and also the earlier application was dismissed, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
