Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned seniority list issued by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.11479/R2/2017 dated 11.05.2018 and quash the same and direct the second respondent to fix the seniority of the petitioners and the respondents 4 to 6 and persons below them as per the rank assigned by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in the Common Written Examination held on 07.07.2012 as required under Section 40 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and grant all consequential reliefs.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned seniority list issued by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.11479/R2/2017 dated 11.05.2018 and quash the same and direct the second respondent to fix the seniority of the petitioners and the Page No.6 of 8
respondents 4 to 6 and persons below them as per the rank assigned by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in the Common Written Examination held on 07.07.2012 as required under Section 40 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 and grant all consequential reliefs.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
