ORDER

The present application has been filed to pass an order directing the respondent to furnish security for the suit sum of Rs.1,01,88,406/- to the satisfaction of this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

3. The Court notice sent to the respondents had been returned with an endorsement that the respondents were "not presently available in the above said address". However, the private notice sent by the applicants have been returned with an endorsement "refused". This Court had directed the applicants to take substituted service by way of paper publication and the applicant has also filed the poof of such paper publication. The present suit had been initiated for a recovery of fair and contractual rent that had been adjudicated by the appropriate Rent Control Authority. In spite of the same, the respondents have failed to pay the fair rent fixed by this Court and they have also refused to receive the notice in the application.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to furnish security for the suit sum of Rs.1,01,88,406/- within a period of four (4) weeks from today. 24-02-2025 Gba To
