O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.59 of 2021 on the file of the learned Principal Subordinate Judge at Kallakurichi.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 25.11.2024, I called for a report from the learned Trial Judge to state as to how long she requires to dispose of the said suit.

3. The learned Principal Subordinate Judge at Kallakurichi has submitted a report stating that the suit has been posted for several hearings for filing written statement. The written statement was not filed, and the defendants were set exparte. The suit was posted for recording exparte evidence. Thereafter, the defendants filed a written statement along with an application to set aside the exparte order and the application was disposed of on 22.06.2023. The report further states that the issues were framed on 30.06.2023. Now the suit has been posted for trial on 09.12.2024, and therefore, she requests four months time to dispose of the said suit.

4.Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, 2/4

there shall be a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge at Kallakurichi, to dispose of O.S.No.59 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
