The petitioner herein was arrested on 18.04.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 3(1) r/w Section 4 of POCSO Act in Crime No.188 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2.The allegation against this petitioner is that he abused the victim boy aged about 13 years and committed penetrative sexual assault. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that a final report in this case has already been filed and the same was taken on file in Spl.S.C.No.152 of 2025. The next hearing is fixed on 29.09.2025.

5.Since this is a case of aggravated penetrative sexual assault against the victim boy, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 17.09.2025 smv 2/4
