ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission, after consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025. The representation has been given by the petitioner, in the light of continuing the mandamus order passed by the Writ Court in WP.No.15120 of 2019, last of which passed on 04.09.2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the earlier order of this Court in WP.No.15120 of 2019, a circular came to be issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu which was published on 14.08.2025 in the Government of Tamil Nadu Gazette Extraordinary No.II-I-Hope/17/2025 for establishing a practice of buy-back of empty liquor bottles in the Nilgris vide G.O.Ms.No.45, Home, Prohibitional Exercise) IV-I dated 10.04.2022 in WP.No.12345 of 2021 etc. It is submitted that thereafter, another 2/5

communication has been issued by the respondent/Headquarters of TASMAC Department by reference NA.KA.No.R3/8849/2022, dated 25.08.2025.

4. It is submitted that despite above, the respondents are not implementing a scheme, as a result of which the workers are facing difficulty. That apart, it is submitted that there is no place for storing empty bottles, which causes lot of inconvenience.

5. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed of on merits. That apart, it is submitted that buy-back scheme of empty bottle is implemented in a piecemeal manner. However, orders are expected to be passed by the Division Bench and the case is listed on 10.10.2025. That apart, it is submitted that the grievance of the petitioner will be addressed independently.

6. Recording the above submission, the learned counsel for the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, before 3/5

passing such order, the respondent shall also consider further orders to be passed by the Division Bench in WP.No.15120 of 2019 which case is said to be listed for final hearing on 10.10.2025.

This Writ petition stands disposed of with the above terms. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
