This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to condone the delay of 560 days in filing the above writ appeal.

2. Despite service of notice on the respondent and his name having been printed in the cause list, there is no representation on his behalf.

Though this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, considering the huge delay in filing the above appeal, delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- to the credit of Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court, Chennai, within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. Upon production of receipt for payment of costs, this civil miscellaneous petition stands ordered.
