O R D E R
(Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to produce the detenue, namely, Ms.C.Nivedha, D/o.Chennappan and W/o.G.Velu, aged about 18 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
2.The petitioner is the brother of the detenue, namely, C.Nivedha, aged about 18 years. The petitioner has stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition that his younger sister C.Nivedha got married to one G.Velu on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
01.02.2019. While so, on 26.04.2019, she was found missing. Therefore, her husband has lodged a police complaint of woman missing on 14.05.2019 before the second respondent police station. Since the police has not taken any steps to secure the detenue, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
3.Today, when the petition is taken up for consideration, the detenue was produced before this Court.
4.The detenue Nivedha submitted before this Court that now she is residing along with her parents and that there was no illegal detention.
5.In view of the submission made by the detenue, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition. As there is no allegation of illegal detention, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
