O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed against the order passed in Crl.MP.No.6977 of 2024 in CC.No.1119 of 2019 dated 12.09.2024 (impugned order) by the learned III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George

Town, Chennai, thereby dismissing the petition filed under Section 277(2) of BNSS r/w Section 254(2) of Cr.P.C. to permit the petitioner to examine the bank manager and the handwriting expert.

The petitioner is the accused in the complaint lodged by the respondent for the offence punishable under Section 138 of NI Act. While pending trial, the petitioner filed the petition to examine the bank manager and the handwriting expert, but it was dismissed. Aggrieved by the same, this criminal revision case has been filed. While pending this criminal revision case, the entire cheque amount has been settled by the petitioner to the respondent. The learned counsel for the respondent also confirmed the same and submitted that the respondent has no objection to close the complaint itself. 3.

In view of the above, the complaint in CC.No.1119 of 2019 on the file of the learned III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai, is hereby dismissed as settled out of court. Therefore, The trial court is directed to close the said complaint.

In the result, this criminal revision case stands allowed.
