( Civil Appellate Jurisdiction ) Wednesday, the Eleventh day of August Two Thousand Twenty One PRESENT THE HON`BLE MS.JUSTICE P.T.ASHA CMP.No.27099 of 2019 in S.A.SR.NO.32582 of 2015 SRI.G.R.ARAVIND [PETITIONER] Vs 1 P.SUBASH KUMAR [RESPONDENTS] 2 R.SOMASUNDARAM Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay 1683 of days in representing the above SA SR No.32582 of 2015(IN CMP.NO.27099/2019) Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.V.KRISHNAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- The above petition has been filed for condonation of delay of 1683 days in representing the above S.A.SR.No.

32582 of 2015. 2.This Court originally ordered notice to the respondents vide order dated 18.12.2019, however, on a perusal of the petition, it appears that the appeal has been filed in time and that the delay in representation of the same had occurred on account of the bundle going missing from the office of the previous counsel and the same could be traced only in the month of June 2019 and the appellant had sought for change of vakalat, thereby the previous counsel has engaged the service of the present counsel.

3.Taking into consideration that the petitioner has given sufficient reasons for the delay of 1683 days, this Court is inclined to allow this petition on payment of Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only) to the Chief Justice Relief Fund on or before 31.08.2021.
