ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 20.02.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.3898 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to pay the interest on the belated payment of the terminal benefits to the petitioner at the rate of 6% per annum, commencing from the date of the retirement, till the date of actual disbursement, within a period of eight weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents disbursed 6% interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits to the petitioner. He also produced a calculation memo along with payment details, before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
