This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.10.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for rectification/correction in the measurement of the property in the revenue records by recording the extent as 5810 sq.ft. instead of 3805 sq.ft. as per the title document of the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.G.Saravanabhavan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 19.10.2024 and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
