Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondent to measure the petitioner's land bearing Survey No.547 /11, Patta No.878, Aragasanahalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District (Challan No.20220718012186) dated 18/07/2022 and consider the representation dated 12/08/2024.

The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the 6th respondent to measure the petitioner's land bearing Survey No.547 /11, Patta No.878, Aragasanahalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District (Challan No.20220718012186) dated 18/07/2022 and consider the representation dated 12/08/2024.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making several representations, the 6th respondent has not proceeded to survey the subject land. The petitioner would submit that on 18.07.2022, she has paid necessary charges for surveying the subject land. On 12.08.2024 once again the petitioner made a representation to the respondents to measure her property. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3/6

respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation. The respondents shall conduct survey of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show her title to the property and the respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
