This petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent police to conduct proper investigation in Cr.No.1386 of 2017 and to file a final report within the stipulated time.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that in this case investigation has been completed in a fair manner and and charge sheet also filed against two accused and since one of the accused is a juvenile, charge sheet has been split up against the juvenile. The Juvenile Justice Board, Thirvallur, has also passed the order on merits on 26.03.2018. In view of the above submission, this criminal original petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law, if they are aggrieved on the charge sheet filed by the respondent police.
