(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) An interim order directing payment of wages under Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act, is under challenge.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Forest) would however contend that the appellant is raising the issue of absence of employer-employee relationship.

3. We are afraid that we cannot entertain such submission at this stage in view of the mandatory nature of Section 17B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. Hence we see no reason to interfere with the order of the Writ Court. The Appeal is dismissed. We would however request the Writ Court to hear the Writ Petition at the earliest.
