The Writ Petition is filed directing the respondent/Corporation to reinstate the petitioner or in the alternative to pay wages every month from the date of the order passed in the Approval petition. The petitioner has filed a sworn affidavit wherein he stated that he is suffering without employment for the past three years and his family is struggling for livelihood. The respondent has not filed a counter disputing the said facts. In view of the same, the 17-B application is allowed directing the respondent to pay the petitioner, the last drawn wages of Rs.22,524/- every month from the date of the writ petition till the disposal of the writ petition. The learned counsel for the respondent prays for time to pay the arrears of 17-B wages. Hence, twelve (12) weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is granted to pay the arrears of 17-B wages for the period from the date of writ petition till payment of 17-B wages. The petition is accordingly allowed.
