Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the first and second petitioner's final written offer letter regarding lease of premises dated 19.08.2024 and 15.08.2024 submitted respectively for establishing branches at Kolimekkanur, Perigai and Sungalnatham Villages, Dhamapuri District, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider their offer for leasing their premises, within a time fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that they are owning property in EriyurVillage, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District. The petitioners made an offer to the respondent bank for leasing their property to locate the branch of respondents bank at Eriyur Village. However, the respondents decided to look for alternative place for establishing their branch at some other villages. Therefore, the petitioners filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider the offer made by them.

3. The respondents cannot be compelled to accept the offer made by the petitioners. The acceptance of the offer made by the petitioners is the sole discretion of the respondents bank and the same is in the

realm of contract. Therefore, this court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
