JUDGMENT

The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant herein is in prison from 28.05.2015. He would submit that the appellant was convicted and sentenced to undergo the maximum period of seven years imprisonment for the offence under Section 307 IPC and to undergo six months imprisonment for the offence under Section 506(i) IPC. The appellant is in prison from the date of his conviction. He would further submit that the appellant has already undergone the period of sentence imposed in this case. He further submitted that the appellant was convicted in yet another case in S.C.No.19 of 2013, against which he preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.488 of 2018 and the same was dismissed by this Court on 06.07.2021 confirming the conviction and sentence imposed for the offence under Section 302 IPC.

2.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side], on instructions, submits that the appellant had already undergone the period of sentence imposed in this case.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives in this appeal. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
