ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to admit the petitioner to three year LLB course in Dr.Ambedkar Government Law college Puducherry against the seats allotted under Regional reservation to Karaikal under

Scheduled Caste Community quota or by creation of super numarary seat to accommodate the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is a resident of the Puducherry region. Her application for admission to the respondent law College was considered in the mock-up list, as she was not selected during the counselling process. However, the petitioner's candidature could not be considered for admission since other applicants possessing higher percentage than the petitioner were very much available.

4. That apart, the admission process for the academic year 2024-2025 in the respondent College has already been completed. In fact, for the present academic year 2025-2026, the petitioner was granted admission in a private institution namely, "Sri Manakula Vinayagar School of Law, Centre of Legal Education".

5. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be

considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 17.10.2025 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn
