ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the revision petition pending before him vide No.R.C.No.D1/4667/2023 (L.Ref). within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that though his revision petition was number as R.C.No.D1/4667/2023 (L.Ref) on 19.06.2023 itself, so far, he has not received any notice for hearing. Therefore, he has approached this Court by way of filing this writ petition seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the above said revision petition within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
3.Mr.P.Gurunathan, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's revision petition within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the 2/5
petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner after issuing notice and giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondent/s therein, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs. 22.12.2023 ksa-2 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No 3/5
