PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus and direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's grievance petition bearing ID.231024143637 dated 23.10.2024 within a time bound manner.

O R D E R

This writ petitioner seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's grievance petition bearing ID.231024143637 dated 23.10.2024 within time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner received a miscellaneous bill for August 2024 for exorbitant amount of Rs.6.70 lakhs. Hence, he submitted a petition before 1st respondent and the same has not been disposed till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would 2/5

submit that the application of the petitioner before the first respondent was numbered as Petition No.225 of 2024 and the same will be disposed of in accordance with law within time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner in Petition No.225 of 2024, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. It is also brought to the notice of this Court, as per the direction issued by this Court on 29.11.2024, the petitioner paid the second installment amount as per miscellaneous bill dated 28.08.2024. Therefore, the respondents are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner till the disposal of the grievance petition filed by the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 3/5
