Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 BNSS, to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of all the complaints in Crime No.04 of 2024 on the file of the 4th respondent and Crime No.111 of 2024 on the file of the 5th respondent to the file of the 2nd respondent for further investigation along with Crime No.278 of 2023 presently under investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent in the interest of all concerned.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent-Police to transfer the investigation of all the complaints in Crime No.04 of 2024 pending on the file of the 4th respondent and Crime No.111 of 2024 pending on the file of the 5th respondent to the file of the 2nd respondent for further investigation along with Crime No.278 of 2023, presently under investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent in the interest of all concerned.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police by referring to the proceedings of the Commissioner of Police, Chennai, vide R.C.No.274/41514/Crime-1(2)/APC/2024, dated 13.11.2024 submitted that investigation in Crime No.4 of 2024 pending on the file of the fourth respondent herein was already transferred to the second respondent-Economic Offences Wing for further investigation along with Crime No.278 of 2023, which was now pending on the file of the 2nd respondent herein.

Considering submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents-Police, since the case in Crime No.4 of 2024 was already transferred to the file of the second respondent-Police herein, the respondents-Police is directed to transfer the case in Crime No.111 of 2024 pending on the file of the fifth respondent-Police herein to the second respondent-Police herein as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
