Respondents in all the petitions Common Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 19.03.2019 seeking disbursement of final bill in relation to execution and completion of the works assigned and as informed to be disbursed to the petitioner vide 2nd respondent's proceedings made in Ka.No.707/Ko.Oppanthakarar niluvai/ Oo/2018 dated 14.11.2018.
For Petitioners : Mr.L.Chandrakumar, (in all the petitions) For Respondents : Ms.S.Shahila Bhanu (in all the petitions) Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that WP Nos.34661, 34671, 34673, 34674 and 34675 of 2019 have become infructuous, since the amounts due to the said petitioners have been paid in full. In view of the same, the above Writ Petitions are disposed of as having become infructuous.
2. As far as WP No.34672 of 2019 is concerned the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a balance amount of Rs.13,00,000/- to be paid by the respondents to the petitioner. The learned counsel for the respondents has produced a letter dated 05.06.2020 signed by the petitioner in WP No.34672 of 2019 in which he had stated that he had received a sum of Rs.52,99,674/- in full quit of the amounts due to him and he has specifically stated that he would not claim any further amount from the respondent Board and he has also assured the Board that he would with draw the Writ Petition filed by him.
3. In view of the same, I do not think that the learned counsel for the petitioner could be allowed to contend that some more amounts are due from the respondent Board. Hence the said Writ Petition in WP No.34672 of 2019 is also disposed of as having become infructuous. No costs.
