ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. This case, Cr.No.57 of 2019 is registered for the alleged offences under Section 288 and 304(A) I.P.C. In this case, the Accused is present. He submits that at the time of accident, Rs.80,000/- has been paid. The defacto complainant submits that he does not want to pursue the case any further. The parties have moved on and have no objection to the case being disposed of on compromise.

3. Considering overall facts and circumstances of the case, this case is treated as an extraordinary case where the parties have settled between themselves. Considering the factual matrix, the context in which the conflict arose, the background of the parties, and their present position, this is an appropriate case for the exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as per Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another (2012 10 SCC 303).

shl 4.Accordingly, the case in CC.92/2022 on the file of the JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE COURT NO.II, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of. 06.10.2025 shl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
