Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.No.585 OF 2016 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner/appellant in Spl.C.C.No.8/2013 dated 31.05.2016 by the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Nitheemandram (Mahila Court) Coimbatore pending disposal of the Criminal Appeal No.585 of 2016.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.No.585 OF 2016 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.KANNAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.RAVICHANDRAN, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE [CRL.SIDE] on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner/appellant in Spl.C.C.No.8 of 2013, dated 31.05.2016 by the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Nitheemandram (Mahila court) Coimbatore.

2. Heard both sides.

3. This miscellaneous petition is pending for more than two years. Since the petitioner is in Judicial Custody, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence.
