The case of the year 2021 registered in Crime No. 841 of 2021, on the file of the 2nd respondent is still under investigation. The present petition is filed for a direction to alter the charges in view of the fact that the petitioner sustained grievous injury on the head and leg. His left leg got fractured, but the case was registered only for the offence under Sections 294 b and 323 IPC on 24.09.2021, yet no progress in the investigation and the charges is also not been altered.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the investigation is at advance stage and after collecting the materials, particularly, regarding the medical records of the defacto complainant, necessary alteration in the charge will be filed within a period of three months.
