This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in connection with Crime No.52 of 2023 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has given undertaking that the respondent police would complete the investigation and file a final report before the jurisdictional magistrate within a period of one month.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to speed up the investigation process and file a charge sheet before the jurisdictional magistrate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
