PRAYER:-Writ Petitioner filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1 st to 3 rd respondents to assign free house site patta to the petitioner herein under the scheme of issuance of Free house site patta to Adi Dravidar and to conduct a detailed enquiry in to the irregularities committed in the assignment of free house site pattas under the said scheme by considering the representation dated 30.07.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to assign free house site patta to the petitioner herein under the scheme of issuance of Free house site patta to Adi Dravidar and to conduct a detailed enquiry in to the irregularities committed in the assignment of free house site pattas under the said scheme by considering the representation dated 30.07.2025.

2.Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made a representation dated 30.07.2025 before the respondents, to conduct a detailed enquiry into the irregularities committed in the assignment of free house-site and to consequently assign a free house-site patta in favour of the eligible petitioner, the same has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, he prayed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2025. 4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2025 will be considered and disposed of within four weeks after conducting an enquiry.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
