This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 05.12.2022 made in W.P.No.32508 of 2022. 1/4

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Murali, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has submitted that, the order of this Court has been complied with. In support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the District Collector, Chengalpattu dated 23.01.2024 under which the request made by the petitioner for issuance of patta having been considered was rejected. A copy of the said proceedings has also been served on the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who on receipt of the same, would submit that, since the request of the petitioner has been rejected by the respondent, the petitioner would workout his remedy against the said rejection order in the manner known to law.
