(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Anandha Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.Arun Babu, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 3 and 4.
2. The writ petition is filed without any cause of action. Only notice under Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 has been issued to the petitioners, calling for explanation. No order has been passed yet.
3. The petitioners have already filed their explanation to the said notice. It is only after the order is passed, pursuant to the notice, further action would be taken. We do not see any purpose in filing the writ petition. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34377 of 2023 is closed.
