The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, to take the charge sheet filed 1/4

by the respondent Police in Sr. No.LTN20230003026C202500151 in connection with Crime No.68 of 2025 on file.

2. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner/de facto complainant, a case in Crime No.68 of 2025 was registered by the respondent against the accused person for the offence under Section 291 BNS. After completion of investigation, a charge sheet was filed by the respondent Police through online in LTN20230003026C202500151. However, the same was not taken by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking a direction to expedite the trial.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that though the charge sheet has been filed through online, the same has not been taken on file, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, to 2/4

take cognizance of the case in connection with Crime No.68 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible.
