Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to effect electric service connection to the petitioner's house at Door No.1 A Thanthoniamman Koil Street, Villivakkam, Madras-49.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to effect electric service connection to the petitioner's house at Door No.1 A Thanthoniamman Koil Street, Villivakkam, Madras-49. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard Mr.K.Sivabalan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.When the case is taken up for final hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that, the service connection has already been effected to the petitioner. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the writ petitioner has already been accomplished. The learned counsel for the petitioner endorse the said submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the respondents and submits that the service connection has been effected to the petitioner. Recording the said submission, since the service connection has already been effected to the petitioner, and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
