Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2016 in regard to issuance of legal heirship certificate of his sister Mrs.Krishnabai (died on 26.06.2012) after conducting enquiry as directed by this Court in W.P.No.10746 of 2013 dated 16.07.2013.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of legal heirship certificate of his deceased sister viz., Krishnabai, who died on 26.06.2012.

3. Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, based on instructions, submitted that the respondent/Tahsildar, is going to conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers

short time. Therefore, he submitted that this Court may fix time limit for the Tahsildar to pass such order.

Thus, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2016 and pass orders on the same after conducting due enquiry on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the necessary parties. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
