This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to take necessary action based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.07.2025 and consequently, include the petitioner's name as a Page Nos.1/4

victim witness in C.C.No.7 of 2022 on the file of the Special Judge (TNPID) Court, Chennai.

2. According to the petitioner, he had deposited huge amount in the share market managed by the accused/Company, along with his colleagues and friends. Though the accused/Company failed to repay the amount, on the basis of the complaint given by other depositors, the accused persons have been arrested. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is also one of the depositors in the said transaction and therefore, he made a request before the respondent-Police to include his name as a victim witness in C.C.No.7 of 2022 on the file of the Special Judge (TNPID) Court, Chennai. In this regard, he has also given complaint dated 21.07.2025 to the respondent-Police. Since there was no response from the respondent-Police, the present petition is filed for the relief stated supra.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner herein is arrayed as an accused in Crime No.196 of 2022 before the Telangana Police for the similar offences. Any how, the respondent-Police will Page Nos.2/4

examine the petitioner's complaint and if it is found that the petitioner has really deposited the amount, necessary action would be taken as per law.
