ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the medical reimbursement of Rs.2,49,433/- or any eligible amount under the New Health Insurance Scheme 2014 for Pensioners implemented vide G.O.Ms.No.174 dated 26.06.2014 and pass orders.

2. The facts of the case is that the petitioner is a retired employee from the Education Department. The petitioner has under gone surgery in Narayana Health Care Hospital at Bangalore, State of Karnataka. The sum and substance of the case he has produced all the necessary documents seeking reimbursement of the medical expenses to the first respondent who inturn forwarded the same to the second and third respondents for further action. Subsequent to which the petitioner gave a representation to the second and third respondents in this regard on 15.05.2023 and the same does not evoke any response, which has given rise to this petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second and third respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

6. Considering the facts of the case, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the second and third respondents to consider the claim made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the above observations this writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
