O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st and 2nd respondents to furnish the documents mentioned in the RTI application dated 10.05.2024 and to consider the First Appeal dated 13.08.2024, pending before the 1st respondent. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner sought information regarding water connection in a nearby Village. He therefore filed an application under Section 6 of Right to Information Act, 2005 with respect to water connection in Solasiramani Village. He wanted copies of Village Resolution related to new water connections, the total beneficiaries, tender details, contractor names, contract quotation value and details of the beneficiaries.

3.It had been stated that the application had been received by the 2nd respondent on 11.05.2024. On 10.06.2024, the petitioner received some details. He was also asked to pay necessary amounts. He had also paid the necessary fees payable. He had not received any further information and therefore, this Writ Petition has been filed. 4.However, it is informed that all the information had been furnished to the petitioner herein and necessary acknowledgment had been obtained. The petitioner was therefore directed to file further affidavit with respect to information received and not received. He stated that among other information received, he had received information relating to tender dated 24.01.2024.

5. It is contended that the 2nd respondent had stated about a tender for the month of September 2024. The petitioner had given the application in the month of May 2024. He cannot seek information about a future tender which was issued subsequently in September 2024. If he wants further information, he must file further application before the respondents.

6. It is also contended that with respect to question 7, complete details had not been given. If requisite details had not been given, he has to approach the Appellate Authority.

7. It is contended that a First Appeal filed on 13.08.2024 before the 1st respondent is still pending. The respondents may pass appropriate orders in manner known to law.
