Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2023 for issuance of patta for the Schedule "B" property.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 18.11.2023 for issuance of patta.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. In the light of the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2023, after issuing notice the petitioner, Village Panchayat President, all the land owners of the four boundaries of the the petitioner's land and interested parties/rival claimants if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
