This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to survey the land comprised in S.No.132/1 to an extent of 1.93 Acres situated at Nadupatti (Ettippatti) Village, Nadupatti Post, Uthangarai Taluk and Krishnagiri District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.03.2025 as well as the petitioner's application dated 20.08.2025, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court along with adequate police protection by the fourth respondent to give police protection, on the basis of the communication of the second respondent dated 18.08.2025. 2/6
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner owned a land comprised in Survey No.132/1 measuring an extent of 1.93 Acres situated at Nadupatti (Ettippatti) Village, Nadupatti Post, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application before the respondents and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the respondents did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police 3/6
seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
