(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Anandha Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for R1, R2 and R4 and Mr.A.Arun Babu, learned Standing Counsel for R3 and R5 to R7.
2. The writ petition ought not to have been filed at this stage. The petitioners are issued with show cause notice under Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998. The petitioners filed reply to the same. Naturally, before passing orders, the authorities are bound to consider the reply filed by the petitioners.
3. In the light of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34355 of 2023 is closed.
