Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondent herein to settle the difference in Leave Salary payable to the petitioners herein due to the implementation of 7th pay commission, by considering the representation dated 10.07.2025 of the 1st petitioner, representation dated 28.07.2025 of the 2nd petitioner, and representation 11.08.2025 of the 3rd petitioner.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to to settle the difference in Leave Salary payable to the petitioners herein due to the implementation of 7th pay commission, by considering the representations submitted by the petitioners 1 to 3 dated 10.07.2025, 28.07.2025 and 11.08.2025 respectively.

It is the case of the petitioners 1 to 3 that they had joined the services of the respondent corporation on 25.06.1981, 25.06.1981 and 18.06.1980 respectively and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 10.7.2025, 28.07.2025 and 11.08.2025 respectively. The main grievance of the petitioners is that despite the direction given by the Government in Lr.No.1706/C1/2023-1 dated 25.05.2023, the difference in Leave Salary due to implementation of the VII Pay Commission Recommendation has not been paid to them. In this regard, the petitioners 1 to 3 have given their representations to the respondent on 10.07.2025, 28.07.2025 and 11.08.2025 respectively. However, the same have not been considered. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court. 2/4

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent and perused the records.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners 1 to 3 dated 10.07.2025, 28.07.2025 and 11.08.2025 respectively and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits or claims of the petitioners.
