Writ Petition (Criminal) filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the appointment of new Advocate Commissioner in Cr.M.P.No.698 of 2022 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem dated 18.07.2025 and quash the same.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1 st and 2 nd respondents submitted that though the 1 st and 2 nd respondents have no say in this matter, however, the impugned order 18.07.2025 passed in Cr.M.P.No.698 of 2022 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem has already been given effect to and the 2/5

possession has been taken and subsequently, handed over to the 3 rd respondent.

2. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and accordingly, this writ petition (criminal) stands dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
