Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents here in to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12/07/2019 by directing the third respondent to allowing the petitioner to register the sale deeds in respect of property bearing New No.205, Old No.88, Very old No.193, Kamman Dharawaja Lane, Bharathi Salai (Pycrofts Road), Triplicane, Chennai 600 005 of an extent of 906 sq.ft. built up area in Ground floor bearing flat No.G1, and 198 sq.ft.built up area in Ground floor bearing shop together with undivided share. For Petitioner : Mr.T.Gnana Banu For Respondents : Mr.T.Pappiah Special Government Pleader

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation filed by the petitioner, who is seeking for registration of sale deeds in respect of the undivided share in a flat sought to be purchased by the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased a flat along with the undivided share in the land. The petitioner had presented the document for registration and since the same was not registered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.T.Gnana Banu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 12.07.2019 and deal with the same in accordance with law and take a decision with regard to the registration of sale deeds, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 12.07.2019 and copy of the document presented before the third respondent and also a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
