ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.This case in Cr.No.118 of 2005 dated 05.06.2005 was registered for the alleged offences under Section 324, 506 r/w.34 of IPC. It is stated that even when the witness summons was served on the defacto complainant, the defacto complainant has not attending the Court proceedings. When she was approached, there was no response. It can be seen that the case is of the year 2005. The Accused is attending the proceedings regularly. 3.Considering the nature of allegation, the antecedents of the accused, it is evident that even if the accused is continuing to face trial, it would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial. shl 4.Accordingly, the case in CC.1600077/2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate VII, Puducherry Taluk, Puducherry stand quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.
