The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer IDOP No.80 of 2024 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore to the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur.
2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- (i) The petitioner/wife is not being maintained by the respondent/husband. She had filed a maintenance case in MC.No.1 of 2024 which is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Tiruttani. (ii) The petitioner/wife is residing with her parents at Tiruttani, Tiruvallur District.
(iii) The petitioner/wife is currently pursuing her internship at Government Hospital, Tiruvallur.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. In the above circumstances the request for transfer appears justified. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and IDOP No.80 of 2024 pending on the file of the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore is withdrawn and transferred to the file of 2/4
the Principal District Judge, Tiruvallur. The learned Judge will not be influenced by any statements that are made in the affidavit filed in support of the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition. No costs.
