O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner.

2.The claim made by the petitioner is that she should be considered for appointment to the post of Panchayat Secretary which according to the petitioner remains vacant. According to the petitioner, the post is remaining vacant without being filled by any candidate and therefore the petitioner made a representation to consider her candidature and to appoint her in the said post.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent submitted that one Jagadeeswari has already been appointed as the Panchayat Secretary of Irumbedu Panchayat on 28.11.2019 and therefore, the candidature of the petitioner cannot be considered.

4.In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. This writ petition is closed by recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
