Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal APPEAL No.485 OF 2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the Petitioner/Appellant herein in Special S.C. No.60 of 2015 by judgment dated 02.01.2017 passed by the Learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Dharmapuri, Dharmapuri District and enlarge the petitioner on bail, pending disposal of the above Crl.A.No.485/2017.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.485 of 2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.BALU, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mrs.V.SARATHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by judgment dated 02.01.2017 in Spl.S.C.No.60 of 2015 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Dharmapuri District, and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above appeal.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the miscellaneous petition is ordered and the substantive sentence of imprisonment alone is suspended and the petitioner is released on bail on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
